S.O.L.I.D. Alliance Ministries was founded in 2024 by Chaplain and Minister Dani Shaffer. She experienced first-hand the impact on patients and front-line workers of exploitation, human trafficking, and traumatic events falling through the cracks. This led her to see the need for holistic and spiritual support, education, and equipping of those that directly serve victim survivors. She has developed training for front-line workers so they can confidently provide practical and evidence-informed spiritual care to victims of Human Trafficking, Victims of Sexual Violence, and Victims of Domestic Violence. All the while, making sure the goal of this care is giving victims the compassion, confidence, and ethical care that they deserve. As people hear about Dani’s work, her hope is that the call of providing trainings and materials that started S.O.L.I.D. Alliance Ministries fosters its growth and development into the future to impact as many patients and front-line workers as possible.

Dani Shaffer is a Board Certified Chaplain with the Association of Professional Chaplains. She is ordained and ecclesiastically endorsed through the Worldwide Fellowship of Independent Christian Churches and holds a Master of Theological Studies from Trinity International University.
With more than a decade of ministry leadership experience, Danielle has dedicated her career to serving individuals and communities impacted by trauma.
Prior to healthcare chaplaincy, she worked as a Therapeutic Behavioral Intervention Specialist at Gracehaven, providing support to child survivors of human sex trafficking.
Dani also holds a bachelor’s degree in education and is a licensed Intervention Specialist, bringing expertise in education, behavioral support, and trauma-informed practice to her work.
She completed her Clinical Pastoral Education and Residency with OhioHealth and served as a healthcare chaplain at a Level I Trauma Center and a Level 2 Trauma Center. It was in this setting that she provided crisis intervention and spiritual care to patients, families, and staff experiencing traumatic events. Her clinical experience includes supporting survivors of violence, sexual assault, domestic violence, human trafficking, sudden death, critical illness, and other medical and community crises.
With expertise in crisis response, crisis de-escalation, and therapeutic behavioral intervention, she equips interdisciplinary teams to navigate complex situations with clarity, dignity, and emotional safety. Dani is a strong voice for protecting humanity in care settings, advancing practices that restore agency and prevent re-traumatization—particularly among vulnerable populations, including victims of human trafficking. She brings ethical leadership, systems-level insight, and grounded presence to institutional spaces. As a wife and mother of two boys, she integrates professional excellence with lived wisdom, modeling resilient, human-centered spiritual care.
